Syren - An Emergency Resource App

Syren is an Android application that compiles emergency information along with local emergency resources.

Emergency information and local resources are all available offline and updated whenever a connection is available. Local resources are displayed through the Google Maps API, and the application will help you call or navigate to food banks, hospitals, churches, police stations, and other relevant locations.

As part of this application, I used Flutter and Dart to lead development on integrating the Google Maps API into the front-end of the application. I also was responsible for populating the front-end with data from our back-end team, and ensuring this data displayed correctly within the Google Maps screen.

The original GitLab is created by the university and private. A clone of that repository, as well as the app APK, is available at the following GitHub link: https://github.com/acfin/SyrenClone
